"This party is going to be sooo lame! Plus you can out do her next week." Mallori stated, trying to get on my good side.
"Oh, whatever. You'll find some guy to make out with, & you'll have a good time." Britnee defended.
"Britnee, Rule #2." I demanded parking the car.
"Rule #2. At a party, you must check in at least every 45 minutes." Britnee recited happily from the passenger seat. Britnee was just happy that she finally got the passenger seat. it used to be Jesse's seat. Never Again will Jesse sit there, & I would make damn sure. I looked back to
see Mallori's sour expression.
"Or you could reconsider, it won't be hard to replace you." I shot looking in the mirror & adjusting strands of my hair.
"No, its fine." Mallori declinded. I shut the mirror & opened the door. "Good choice." I straightened my miniskirt & entered into the already out of control party.
"Hey Sexy!" a familar voice called smacking my butt.
"Eww. I need to talk to you." I called turning around to face him. He raised an eyebrow & said, "Really?"
"Not like that. Let's go skeezball." I grabbed his hand & pulled him into a bedroom. There were a couple of misfit screwoffs making out on the bed.
"Out!" I snapped. They looked up in suprise & then left anyway. I shut the door & turned around to face him.
"How does if feel?" he asked smiling.
"How does what feel?" I asked confused.
"Having so much power & authority." he stated, sitting on the bed, & patting the space beside him. I ignored his offer & sat on the dresser across from him, & crossed my legs.
"You're a football player, don't you know?"
"No, I mean girls fall over me, but it doesn't mean I have any authority. I mean you're a complete Bitch, & you still get everything you want. How fair is that? If Karma were real, I would hide. Because you'll get it good." he laughed.
"True," I smiled, "but I odn't believe in stuff like that."
"What did you want to talk about?" he asked.
"Oh, I need a favor." I remembered, examining my nail beds.
"Like what?" he asked. I explained the plan in detail.
"Why should I help you?" he was being difficult.
"Because I will make your life a living Hell if you don't." I snapped.
"You really need a new threat." he laughed.
"Which girl?" he sighed in defeat, after a long debate in his head.
"Now we're talking. oh, & Coby..." I called him back.
"Yeah?" he turned around.
"I really appreciate it." I smiled deviously.
"Prove it." he challenged. I grabbed him by his shirt & started kissing him. I had to repay him somehow
I walked out of the bedroom straightening my top & miniskirt. Britnee & Mallori were standing infront of these two guys, when the saw me, they smiled( kind of all-knowingly.)
"Lip gloss." I demanded.
"I'm off duty." Mallori held up her hands.
"Britnee, Rule #3." I rolled my eyes.
"Rule #3, you are Never off duty." Britnee smiled, handing me my Sugarhigh flavored lip gloss.
"Coby is on our side. ready for Phase 2?" I smacked my lips, & handed her the lip gloss.
"Of course." Mallori smiled.
We stalked off.
*************************
About halfway through the party we found Jesse by herself.
"Jesse!" I beamed, "I'm sooo glad I found you!" fake smiles are an artform & either you're good at them or you're not. I am very good at them.
"Kellee...w-why are you talking to me?" she asked confused, obviously.
"Because the truth is, I felt horrible for being mean to you. Please forgive me." I saw understanding in Jesse's eyes. It was only a matter of seconds that I was forgiven.
"If you're in love, then I can't stop you. It wouldn't be fair of me." I kept my fake smile, & I saw joy in Jesse's eyes. I mean, who wouldn't be happy to be in the incrowd again.
"Please! I'm sorry, &...stuff." Jesse had to fall for that. It's what I would normally say.
"Well...I guess so." she smiled & hugged me. "get in here Britnee." Jesse gestured for her. Mallori went to join & I pushed her away. After all, she was just a replacement & now that Jesse was back, I didn't need Mallori anymore.
"Sorry. You were just a replacement. Give Jesse my purse!" I snapped. She did as told & even looked sad. If I wasn't heartless, that might have hurt, but probably not.
"So, where's Brandon?" I asked walking out the door.
"Helping his little sister with homework." she smiled, obviously thinking it was sweet.
"Eww gross!" I flipped my hair walking through the door.
